Im pretty certain about this one , Ive downloaded and read your manual , the connetion in is analog , That link is for a stereo 3. WAIT, different point on this now, last night i tried unplugging the hdmi cable and the sound came out the tv speakers , hmmmmmmmmm? According to your manual the sound only works in through that port will only work with HDMI1. It mentions nothing about any TV settings that you may have to change , so it must be autiomatic via jack detection or similar.

So as requested , can you post a pic of the audio cable you are using , showing both ends of the cable? As the sound is cutting out when the HDMI port is plugged in it is automatically assuming a fully working HDMI cable and not detecting the separate audio cable , so it could still be down to the type of cable you are using for the audio.

OK, Thats the same cable as the one I linked to. Its a stereo 3. So you dont need to buy a cable at least. The problem lies somewhere else. You need to do a little more troubleshooting , can you connect speakers or something to the green port on the PC , and see if the sound continues when you plug the HDMI into the TV?
