Allied races are freshly-recruited members of the Alliance that become playable races after being 'unlocked'. Unlocking these races usually requires reaching Exalted with an associated faction, which triggers a quest chain and scenario in which you convince the race to join your side.
Allied race mounts are usable by all of your Alliance characters as soon as you unlock the allied race. Refer to Wowhead's guide for more information on unlocking allied races. Below are a range of mounts that are exclusive to the Alliance, but aren't associated with any particular race. Warcraft Mounts A field guide to mounts in the World of Warcraft.

Comment by gunsotsu You forgot about the pvp talbuks from Halaa. Comment by StarFire I dont want to be rude but you are missing a lot. I know many have added stuff in their comments, but you should update your information because it is full of giant holes.
Comment by jamescovas Hi Can you change the number on rep mounts to 72? In both alliance and horde, also change the other faction mounts to 37 in both aliance and horde too? Comment by dylank22 Amani battle bear shouldn't really be under the achievement since you don't get it just for getting the achievement. They are related but separate it is just a guaranteed drop if you do it right, like Twilight Drake from Obsidian Sanctum.
Comment by Elliemental On my main character, I have mounts listed under my mount tabs useable mounts , and in my achievement tab.
I do have a couple rare mounts I originally got on my alt, before they were account wide. I think it was 2 of the mounts. But I am also on my pally, so it could be the class mounts. Is there any way to determine which is throwing off my count? I am hoping its the class mounts, not the two I learned on other characters, as that makes mount farming much more limited.
Wowwiki says Blizzard wanted to use it as Bloodelf Mount, which i can't really believe, but it got into the game with patch 1.
Also the Raptors aren't together in the pre patch 1. Comment by Proctorz This guide to mount collecting was extremely helpful. I appreciate all of the time you have put into making this. I was at mounts and was having trouble trying to figure out where to come up with a few more to hit the mount mark to get the achievement for the kite mount.
Thanks to you I have mounts now and I would not have gotten this far without your extensive, descriptive, very informative guide.
Thanks again for all the time and effort you've obviously put into this guide, and this game. I very much appreciate it. Comment by heixia Wonderful guide! Comment by Morwo Please update to newest game version 6. Comment by sivla seems someone forget to add the cenarion hippogryph , just get to exhalted. Also to level a dk through a starting zone is not so slow at all, if you crack on and do it, can easily be done inside 45 minutes The site gives a lot of information on all servers, but it also gives a rundown of how many people of level has which mount, etc.
Check it out, or don't.. No, I don't own the website, work for it, etc.. I just found the information interesting after wasting countless hours trying to find that information on WoWhead.
Comment by Derrek32 Paladin mounts are missing from the Class Mounts section. Chargers, warhorses, et cetera some are race specific too, I believe.
Comment by Xoxovolume Thanks for this guide, it's really really helpful especially for new players looking to know more on where to get mounts and "build up the collection" to the massive mounts :P.
Comment by Nashoto Am I the only person the links are breaking for at the moment it's november 23 they only show item number and you have to mouse over to find what item they are. Comment by camocanine I love the concept of this guide and it has been VERY useful in the past, so I was excited to see it listed as up to date for "Patch: 6.
Reviewing what is here, I find that no mounts past 5. It's disappointing but understandable if whoever is currently running this guide isn't going to update it, but don't get it flagged for updates that aren't there.
This isn't a 6. Comment by Lrodvun I am very inclined to comments just to say thank you for the guide. It has helped me through mounts and counting. Keep it alive please. Thank you. Comment by redaxe An awesome, timeless guide - I just hit my mounts. A tip for those starting out on the collection journey - there are a lot of mounts out there and some of them are much rarer and more difficult to get than others.
If you want to know which mounts are the easier ones to start with then you can generally find this info across a few sites. Be kind and throw this post an upvote if you find the site helpful! Comment by Heroicveni I think you should move the Reins of the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent to the raid mounts as he's a world boss not really a rare spawn.
Comment by spinachlord Seeing as this guide is 3 years and 2 expansions out of date, how many would be interested in an updated version? I have been working on my own rough database of mounts a work in progress , and have decided it would be a shame to keep something so useful to myself.
Yet, in that time, I have not come across a single guide which is both comprehensive and up-to-date. Surely, with Legion only 1 month away, someone is interested in a guide which is both current and complete? This was a Nagrand faction in BC. There were about 8 of them I believe.
Comment by ravenator22 Can someone update this for WoD and Legion? Elderhorn Riding Harness. Comment by kagalive Awesome work, would love to see an updated version of this! Also there are the rep mounts the fairly easy one is the hippogryph Cenarion Hippogryph for gold with exalted discount, the rep can u get from one dungeon fairly easy 2k per run.
